Junior Golf at Manistee National is very important to the staff and to our regular players, both members and resort guests. The future of this great game is in the hands of our smallest athletes! We have a variety of ways your youngster can learn and enjoy golf. They will not only have options to learn to hit the ball, but also to take that knowledge and learn to “play” the game on-course. You can choose simple one on one individual lessons that fit your specific schedule and how your family works in the sunny days of summer, or choose some of the preset camps and weekly drop in sessions you see below. Junior Golf Clinics Featuring PGA Instruction from Denis Meikle
This one week program will cover the basics of golf. It is open to boys and girls ages 6-16 and will meet on 5 consecutive days. No prior experience is required, but participants are required to have their own clubs. (We can help with that!)
Monday through Thursday mornings groups will be broken into age groups and have hour long sessions. Friday, “Graduation Day”, all groups will play on the course followed by an Award Luncheon at noon. All participants receive tee prize, snacks, award, lunch on Friday as well as instruction.

Dates: June 10 - June 14
Moderate to advanced juniors can sign up for our junior league to follow Junior Camp.
League to include instruction, on course practice and fun competitions as well as play at other local golf courses. Details and pricing TBA.
Pre-scheduled small groups (2 – 6) students will receive more intimate, detailed instruction with the emphasis on specific areas of the game each week including on course instruction. With smaller group size students instruction will focus on the individual and their potential to improve and score comparable to age and ability. Sessions will last 1 hour and be scheduled on a first come basis. Program to include 5 sessions, weather dates to be rescheduled.
Cost: $140
45-minute individual lessons for junior golfers 17 years of age and under. Junior lesson programs also can be paired with junior golf and driving range memberships at a discounted price. (Contact the golf shop for details.)
